Welcome to the Butte Kiwanis Club of Butte, Montana

The Butte Kiwanis Club members are committed to developing future generations of leaders through guidance and example. We are ordinary people performing extraordinary work in our community to help children through countless projects.   Since 1946, the Butte Kiwanis has sponsored the Kiwanis Children’s Sunshine Camp, the Butte area Punt, Pass & Kick Contest, the the Butte High School Key Club.

Butte Kiwanis is  committed to improving the lives of children in our community through education and personal sacrifice. We mentor our youth and adult leaders through our Service Leadership programs.

Our Mission:

As an affiliate of Kiwanis International, Butte Kiwanis is a charitable organization of volunteers dedicated to serving children and underserved populations in and around the community of Butte, Montana
Our Vision:
Founded in 1921, Butte Kiwanis will continue to improve the lives of children, underserved populations, and its community by developing future generations of leaders by guidance and example as well as education and personal sacrifice.

Our Purpose:

Committed to this mission and vision, Butte Kiwanis mentors children and underserved populations through its Service Leadership Programs. In this regard, Butte Kiwanis will continue to sponsor the Kiwanis Children’s Sunshine Camp, the Butte area Punt, Pass and Kick Contest, the Key Club, and the Butte Aktion Club.
Our Goals:
As a non-profit organization, Butte Kiwanis receives donations for maintaining its funds and properties in order to support its Service Leadership Programs. Most expenses go to the operation, maintenance, expansion and development of the building complex at the Kiwanis Children’s Sunshine Camp.

Our Future:

While its focus is on its Service Leadership Programs, Butte Kiwanis is open to working with and/or accepting responsibilities from other charitable organizations for other causes including religious, scientific, literary and academic by either direct participation or contributions as long as they fall under 501C(3) regulations of the Internal Revenue Code.

Join our Club:

The Kiwanis Club of Butte is currently accepting new members. Our club has been in existence since 1921 making us the longest running club in Butte. We are the club in charge of the Kiwanis Sunshine Camp that has made such a huge difference in so many children's lives for 70 years. We are also involved in numerous community projects such as Punt, Pass and Kick, Butte Food Bank, and Butte High Key Club.

As a member of the club, you can choose your level of involvement in each project. Along with community service, we also enjoy a weekly luncheon meeting on Wednesdays at noon.

Regular membership is $15/month. You can make a difference in our community.  Please join our efforts.  We can also help you with your favorite charitable project. We look forward to sharing the spirit of Kiwanis with you. If you have any questions about Kiwanis membership or our club, please call any of our current members. We look forward to visiting with you.
